All our todays are tomorrow's yesterdays.
After years of exploring long-term solutions, the board of directors of the Clive Historical Society elected to close the Clive Historical Society in early 2025. Swanson Memorial Park is not affected; however, the caboose is planned for removal from the grounds. We urge you to provide support with your time for local organizations important to you. Many organizations, especially smaller ones, can often put your willingness to volunteer or serve on a board to immediate use. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
A tag sale will be held at Swanson Memorial Park Friday – Sunday January 10-12, 2025. While Clive-specific records and artifacts are excluded from the sale, many other items will be available. Check out A OKAY Antiques for details as they are published.
Explore Clive's authentic caboose, Train Depot and Swanson General Store! Bring a picnic basket or shop at the many stores conveniently located on 86th Street. Several picnic tables are available in the shade of a walnut tree, along with free WiFi. Treat yourself to a coffee break or a mid-day work escape!
Please contribute toward a lasting memorial to honor Les Aasheim.
